How to make a tree node "unselectable"?

Hi,

I have a tree control that is populated dynamically from the database. However, I do not want all the nodes to be selectable. There are some nodes which are parents to one or more child nodes that should be displayed but cannot be selected. Is there a way to do this?

In other words, can I make only a particular node disabled?
