Can't use Register Client Script block

Hi All,

This doesn't make sense but maybe someone has had a similar problem. When I embed the grid in an .aspx page in code behind model, I can't use RegisterStartupScript. The script doesn't appear. Take out the grid and it appears again.

Anyone?
