Multi-line tooltip

The images example multi-line tooltip renders as a single line in Mozilla. Are there any workarounds for this?

Thanks,
Glenn

After looking into this, this is still a mozilla bug. It has existed for a couple of years now. According to their bugzilla page there is much debate as to what to do to fix it.

I am looking into merging a third party tooltip packages into the grid.
If successful I will share with the group.

I have quite a nice dhtml tooltip, based on what is used at knoppix.org, with a little modification for robustness -- interested? I would like to use the datagrid, but $299 is a little steep for an individual with a project that isn't funded, but which I hope to sell at some point (I have an interested client already), and which I would love to opensource to the public domain at a later stage. I would use the grid in essentially one place (a popup selector) and perhaps a few minor other places, of which I' not entirely sure at this point. Just that your grid is a better implementation than mine (:

If the development team is interested, please let me know. (davydm__TAKETHISOUT__(at)__TAKETHISOUT__gmail__DOT__com)

Here is a Greasemonkey script that adds support for multiline tooltips/titles in Firefox:

http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/2619

It works in Firefox 1.5+ too.
