compare ver 1 and 2

I am totally new to activewidgets.
Tried my hand over the free trial version 2.0.2.
seems impressive
but i need to know how it differs from the prior version[which is free]
in terms of performance?

Version 2 supports virtual rendering mode which makes it much faster with large datasets (because it renders only visible rows).
