csv or js

Hi
wanted to know if there is any performance diffrence btw csv and js array?
i can use both in my project while implementing active widget.
want to know which would be better between the two.

In Internet Explorer js array is fastest for small-medium size datasets (up to 10k records). CSV might be faster with 10-100k records. Not sure if the same is true for FF.
