Facing problem with grid for '$$$$$' values

When i fetch a value containing $ from the database and show it in a grid it doesnot show all exact field value... say i fetch a value ('$$$$$') from database and display in a grid it only show as ('$') not as ('$$$$').

Is there a way to overcome this problem??
Please help me.....
