How to retrieve previous settings when browser "Back" or "Next" buttons are used

Hello,

every time I return to an ActiveWidgets web page using the browsers "Back" or "Next" buttons, the page is in its initial state. Any grid sort order changes or tab selections from the previous visit are made undone.

Does anybody know about a way to work around this and store these kind of settings?

If you need to store data on the client side and retrieve it from different pages - you can either use cookies or IE userData behavior -

thank you for the reply. When searching your website for a solution, I encountered the AW.HTTP.request object. And this easy-to-use AJAX implementation really did the trick for me, here. So I actually chose a server-side solution.

Btw. ActiveWidgets works beautifully with old-fashioned technologies like cgi/bin, too! Your product is really worth every Euro.
