checkbox

Hi E1,
I've been looking around the forum for checkbox code... everything seems to rely on the text that shows on the cell ie. Yes No, True False and sets the state of the checkbox based on that.....
What I'm trying to find is something like this....

aData = [["true", "data1"],["false", "data1"]] ;

and the true, false data is used to set the status of the checkbox. but not display Yes/No or True/False beside the checkbox....

Any pointers?
