Standards-compliant mode

Anyone know why this won't work in browsers' standard-compliant mode (that is, with a valid DOCTYPE declaration)? I've got some pages that need this mode on, and tried to incorporate the grid control... I got some really weird stuff, like the first header went all the way across and some of the column data was mashed together. I tried putting a DOCTYPE in the images.htm in the examples directory, and nothing showed up at all... just a blank page in both IE 6 and Mozilla 1.5.

Thanks for any help,

Greg

Greg,

the grid stylesheet was designed to work in quirks mode for the reasons of compatibility with IE 5.5. Most likely it simply does not work at all in standard-compliant mode. I don't know yet if this is a serious issue or it could be fixed easily - I'll post this as soon as I know.
