How to send varable's value ?

In PHP , we sent a $n by "GET" method to another page, and get the $n by $_GET['n'] .... what i mean is , how do we send a varable's value and how to get the varable ? i can't figure out that how to work in ActiveWidgets Grid 1.0 or 2.0 ?
