New style not working in IE

Im creating a new custom style for the AW controls but in IE the transparent PNG's dont' work in IE. But the included png's for the styles are transparent PNG aswell and they work in IE, how come mine are not working? should i be putting in some type of setting so it works as it should?

IE5 and IE6 cannot display transparent background with 32-bit RGBA png, but work ok with 8-bit files. 8-bit png files also have much smaller size so AW png files are all 8-bit. If you need a tool to convert 32-bit png to 8-bit - this one is quite good -

im using fireworks it allows to export to 8-bits i just didn't know it had to be 8 bits to work good in IE...
