How to show progress bar when bulk data is fetched from server?

Hi

We are using AW 2.0.1. We have created a grid which has more than 20 columns and more than 500 rows.Its takes about 4 seconds to load the page.For the 4 seconds the browser windows remains balnk and shows that processing is going on.

Can I show a progress bar when the processing is occuring at the server end for data retrieval and population into Grid ?

I tried to look for some progress bar in version 2.0.1 but I didn't find anything.Please help me in this regard.

This has worked very well:

The progress bar is simply an animated gif.
When you start the request then show the animated gif. (Usually table.request)
When you receive the request (table.response handler) hide the animated gif.
