scrollbar problem when child grid is displayed

i have 'n' number of childgrids. upon clicking a '+' symbol, they expand.
i am able to set the scrollbar to display all the childgrids.but, when i click on a header and sort, the parentgrid is not able to display all the values (or childgrids.)....i am using setScrollHeight() to increase the scroll after the '+' symbol is clicked.
