How i can convert data from INCH to Millimeters

Hi,

In my coulmn data is presented in INCH form. and at the run time i have to convert that data from INCH to Millimeters.

my data is present in MySql database and i am using asp.net-MySql-ActiveWidgets.

so when i run program from asp.net, on the click event of Button the data automatically converted from INCH to MM form and displayed in GRID.

please can any one tell me how i can i do this. where i have to write the functionality.
