Extra column space inserted in header

If the width specified in setControlSize is greater than that required to display the outputted data, then there is an extra blank column heading displayed.
If the width is then reduced to less than the required display size (such that there is horizontal scrolling) then the extra column heading disappears.
This is in Firefox 1.5.0.7

I have this issue too.
