Custom Sort Function

I find all of the documentation overwhelming and i can't seem to find what i'm looking for.

I have a column with filesizes in human readable format and not all in the same Format. Some in B, KB, MB, etc. Whats the most efficient way to sort these accordingly. Is there a way I can create my own sort function?
