Local server csv file

Hi All,

Is it possible to reference a csv file which is local to the server via an absolute path e.g. file:////c//data.csv. I really don't want the csv file to reside on the website /data.csv as people will just be able to browse to it.

Is this the right place to post questions like this? If not I don't mind posting elsewhere, just looking down at the other posts there doesn't seem to be really any responses to them

The grid downloads the .csv file into the browsers and processes it on the client-side, which means the file must be accessible over http and everyone will be able to browse it.
