Want to freeze the n number of columns.

I want to freeze n number of columns where n should be according to the selections.in students marklist,if i select 2,the first 2 columns should be freezed like if a table has name,sex,mark1 mark2 and mark3 as header and if i give n value as 2,then name and sex should be freezed.

please i want the code in html..
