Grid cell wrapping - Variable row height

In a previous thread called "Need cell content to wrap" sent the 14 June 2007, Alex was saying the following:

The current version does not support variable row height - all rows should be the same (hardcoded) height. This limitation will be removed in one of the future versions.

Has the limitation now been removed? Regarding my tests it seems the limitation is still here, but may be I'm missing a setting.

No, variable row height is not supported in AW 2.5.2.

Ok, thanks for your reply!
We indeed added a "Comments" column and not all the lines have one. We have then the choice between having all the lines uselessly high or having the comment on one line in a very wide column.
I suppose if this point was planned for the next release you would have mentioned it, right?

Could you please tell me if a variable row height is planned for the next release. If yes I will just wait otherwise I will need to find a workaround.

No, not in the next release. At this moment I cannot say when variable row height will be available.
