AW 2.5.3 also supports IE8 beta2 in 'quirks' and 'IE7-standards' mode. The new 'IE8-standards' mode still not supported due to the critical IE8 bug (all scrollbars on the page are reset at each DOM update). I assume there will be another IE8 beta3 in the next few months, which finally delivers workable 'standards' mode.

Is the ActiveWidgets site running 2.5.3? When I look all the samples on the site using CHROME, they all display properly, but clicking the headers does not make the sort order change. (It does with IE.) The header cells appears to "click" but nothing happens to the sort oder.

I does not work with safari or chrome
focus pb still remains.
with chrome if you resize any column focus is ok.
with safari it does not work.

How can we say that AW is compatible with safari?

I can see the problem with focus when the grid is inside the IFRAME (both in chrome and safari). But I still cannot reproduce this in a standalone window. Could you please describe what you are doing to get this error?

I enter data in "floating div".
If I click back inside the widget it does not gain focus. I must click inside the window parent and then click again in the widget to gain focus.
