AW.UI.INPUT + setControlImage = double border & offset position
When I apply an image to an otherwise happily positioned and displayed AW.UI.INPUT, the box moves to the right, and I can see an extra border inside the input near the top and to the left.
Any suggestions appreciated.

It seems to be the same symptom as when you force a refresh on the same control, without having added the setControlImage().

You'll have to post some sample code as this isn't the case by default. (Do you see it with the online examples?) You've possibly set a style that turns the border on.
Note, if you use FireFox as your development browser, the FireBug debugger is an extremely valuable plugin. If you use that to inspect the elements, you could quickly see which CSS style attached to an object's individual parts is causing it.
