Colspan and Rowspan in Active Widgets

Hi,

I'm new in html, etc...
I was asked to do a table/grid in html with vertical writing which i did, then I was told to do it again but using active widgets... Therefore, I need a code to format the writing as vertical and to have the rowspan and colspan all this using active widgets...
Please help
