text entry fields in IE8

It is easy to click on at text entry field in version 1.0 of the grid in IE6 in order to put the cursor in the text entry field for data entry. In IE8 it is much more difficult to click in the right place to get the cursor to show in the text entry field. It appears that IE8 is attempting to do more with the mouse pointer making cursor placement in the entry field more difficult. Has anyone found a solution to this?

Are you still using AW 1.0? May I suggest upgrading to a more recent version? AW 1.0 was built in 2003-2005 long before IE8 release.
