ActiveWidgets 2.6.1 released

ActiveWidgets 2.6.1 released today. This is the first version which works in IE10 on Windows 8, both in Start Screen mode and in Desktop mode. It supports touch devices as well as traditional mouse/keyboard interface.

Version 2.6.1 also improves iPad/iPhone support and adds initial support for Android (Chrome, Firefox only). This version also fixes few bugs found in the previous release.

The new version now works in all major touch devices running iOS, Android or Windows 8.

At this point AW was not tested on Windows RT. I am going to do this as soon as I get the actual devices.

Great News! Can't wait to test it on both platforms, we just have got our application working on Safari as it only renders properly in Firefox..

So pleased the development is moving forward...

Alex,

Odd question...

I dropped the runtime folder on my site and when the evaluation version banner pops up over my grid it still says 2.5.... It also said this with 2.6 as well.. did you forget to update that image?
