Defaulter text to a cell link

Hi Team

Is there any way to get a defaulter text like "Select" so that on clicking that another pop up jsp will be shown on which some values are selected and submitted and that will be shown in that cell value.

I am getting the link working correctly to open the second popup and getting the value but i only need the defaulter text to be shown on the hyper link cell.
