Submit the Grid

I have a seniario where I need to store back the changes made by the user into my DB.

Can any one help on this.

I also need this badly. I came through something in the forums that the grid data changes can be stored into excel file and saved to the server.
Can some one please help, how to save the grid data to excel file on button click event.
