Not working with awg 1.0.1 + firefox 1.0.4 + XML

I have a grid where I used to load data from an xml stream produced by a PHP script. I had not checked it since March I think, then I'm checking it now, with Firefox 1.0.4 (both Linux and Windows), and the grid 1.0.1, and got the this._xml.selectSingleNode is not a function nightmare. However data gets loaded and displayed in latest MSIE.
