How do you make the js grid control in HTML?

The JavaScript Grid Control graph looks pretty neat, but I was wondering how you make that type of thing in HTML. Like the default Index page when someone hasn't created an index.html file in that directory.

It doesn't have to have all the wonderful features of the js grid control, but I was just wondering how to make a very simple HTML version of that. Just so the viewer can click on the column header and then the table will automatically re-organize into sorting that column accordingly.
