send value to combo box

hi, i have a problem with sending a value to a combo box. I have a grid , some textboxes and one combo box in my web page. i can send and view the value from the grid into the text boxes by using the getDataProperty method (for example if i click on row 1 then it shows whatever value in the row) , but not to the combo box. Can anyone help me with sending values in combo box ?
