Need Textarea where user can format the text.

I need the textarea where user will enter the data (text) and will format the text in bold, pharagraph etc.(after selecting the text)

I'm writing something simila to this..
I have written JS code to insert the Bold and Italic and BR format functions but i dont know how to insert the functions where the cursor is like this reply window dose.. can someone help please?

It works in IE and Firefox so I'm switching from my own solution (IE only) to using this.
