Save modifications to DATABASE

Hello, it is a possibility to EDIT in grid informations from a DATABASE and after that to SAVE them back to DATABASE ? ..and how can I can make some rows editable and some rows read-only ? Thanks a lot if some one can help me...my email mailto:catalin2@gmail.com
