Grid Refresh Example - Yahoo Stock Market - how do I refresh part of the grid

hi everyone,
This is a work in progress using this fabulous grid.
My question is:
How can I refresh only part of the grid. ie only the columns that are not fixed...so that I can double click on the code column and change the code to a new one and have it bring back that codes data. (like a watch list).

I thought I might share it with everyone... Any help in enhancing or rewriting the code in a better way is much appreciated. Also looking to be able to add and delete rows to this grid.

Thanks
Alex H

Alex, I see a different problem/solution here. In beta3 CSV model does not save edited text yet. To enable this you should implement setText method in your table model (for the first column) and then maybe you could use the CSV model without transferring data into array (?)

Hey Alex-from-Sydney,

My suggesting for only updating some columns for a grid would be to create an uber-model that combines two sub-models. One sub-model would be the fixed columns, the other sub-model would be the un-fixed columns. The uber-model would need control which sub-model is used when getData() is called. Clearly, you would need to use some sort of keying to ensure that the two models are correctly aligned.

Just a thought. Others probably have better ones.

Does this solution work on AW.XML.Table as well if so how?
